Idiot's guide :-
Leave airport/hire car car park and follow blue motorway signs for Murcia. Once on the Motorway, stay on there until Murcia and turn off right signposted Almeria just after the new football ground and Ikea signs on your right.
There is a very nice restaurant by the side of the motorway at Exit 580, approximately 15km south of Lorca.
Now follow the local instructions at the bottom of this page.
2. Instructions from Murcia Airport
In 2008, a new international airport is being built at Corvera, south of Murcia which will cut the journey to an hour. Additionally a new motorway is due to open soon after August 2006 from Cartegena to Vera, this will make the journey time from the current airport at San Javier to Mojácar about an hour also.
The current airport is pretty basic as it belongs to the military, so
don't expect to do much duty-free shopping or have a meal on the way back.

There is a very nice restaurant by the side of the motorway at Exit 580, approximately 15km south of Lorca.
If you need to make the reverse journey, leave the E15 at exit 651A and follow signs for San Javier and Aeropuerto.
3. Instructions from Almeria Airport
Like Murcia,
Almeria Airport is pretty basic, but also fairly quick to get into and
out of.

The idiots guide is :-
From the hire car car-park, follow directions for Almeria (E15 N340) at the first roundabout. Now follow directions for Murcia (E15 N340) until you get on this road heading North and exit at Junction 520. If coming out of the Airport you get on the N344 towards Murcia by mistake, don't panic, stay on this until you see blue motorway directions back to the E15 N340 to Murcia and take this to get back on the AutoVia).

Local Instructions
Having turned off at Junction 520 signposted Bedar, Turre and Mojácar, follow the signs for Turre/Mojácar. After approx. 6 km, having followed a winding road, you will come to the village of Turre. Continue through Turre and now you are heading towards Mojácar, again along a winding road, for approx 7 km. You will come up to a left hand bend and as you do immediately facing you is the Hotel Simon.
Continue around this left hand bend and you will start heading down the hill. Drive across the roundabout by the garage and continue to the bottom to the roundabout on Mojácar Playa.
Turn right at the rounabout and drive along Mojácar Playa for about 2 miles. On the right-hand side you will see a building with the name Polansky and also the Stock XChange. Turn right here & drive up the hill for 3-400 metres, around a left-hand bend and then a right-hand bend. Around the right-hand bend, turn immediately left and drive up the hill, you will see the white apartments with Blue painted woodwork in front of you.
